Our Mission
Popsicle’s goal is to champion imaginative play – loosely structured, creative, and pretend play. These activities are essential to a child’s learning, development, and emotional wellbeing, and we believe that art is a critical part of the development of kid’s creativity. All kids should have access to art!
US Arts Education Gap
Although some schools can support an on-going commitment to arts education, the growing arts education gap doesn’t impact all kids the same. Since the mid-1980’s, children from low-income families have experienced a 77% reduction in arts education.*

What is the Stick with
Art Contest?
Popsicle is working to bridge the arts education gap with the Stick with Art Contest. In partnership with the National Art Education Association (NAEA) and Kyla Pratt, parent, actor and arts education advocate, we’re prioritizing imaginative play and learning within school classrooms by providing funding for art teachers working at underfunded schools across the nation.
Congratulations to This Year's Winners!
