Design Your Own Pop

Imagine a pop

Experimenting with unique culinary combinations is a great way for children to explore their creativity! Plus, introducing a variety of foods in the context of a balanced diet helps encourage smarter habits down the road.

Explore these tasty experiments with your family and see what inventive flavor combinations your child can whip up for an exciting, new Popsicle®!

Be sure to take photos of your child’s fruit-inspired creations and enter as many flavors and times as your child would like.

By the way, since all Popsicle pops are no more than 100 calories and 12 grams of total sugar per pop and many of our popsicles are made with colors and flavors from natural sources, it’s perfectly cool to get crazy and combine some unexpected flavors (strawberries and string cheese, anyone?).

STEP 1:

TASTE TEST

Have your child pick out different fruits and ingredients to create a fun, new treat. Ask them what it tastes like and encourage them to describe the texture. Write down keywords they use to describe their experience, then snap a pic of your notes!

STEP 2:

EXPERIMENT TIME

Now that you've figured out your child's favorite fruits and ingredients, it's time to combine! Blend 'em into a smoothie,
turn 'em into a frozen kabob, or mix them up in any way you please!

STEP 3:

FLAVOR IDEAS

Write down your family’s favorite combos from Step 2, along with any other ideas for a new Popsicle flavor.
(No limits! Write as many as you’ve got!)
